A website recognised by the Awwwards jury

Every day, the Awwwards recognise the most accomplished websites in the world. Projects are scored by an international jury of designers, developers and agencies on design, usability, creativity and content.

The website of twks, a creative agency based in Geneva, received three awards: an Honorable Mention, a Developer Award, which specifically recognises the quality of the development, and Site of the Day on 7 October 2026.

twks conceived and directed the project, and Octoplus Solutions handled all of the development. It's a well-established split: we have been working with twks on web projects for several years, including Explore Demain. The Developer Award is the one we are proudest of, because it recognises our work directly.

Interactions that carry the agency's identity

Motion is at the heart of the twks design, starting with the home page header animation. Our role was to turn those intentions into smooth interactions without sacrificing loading speed or readability.

Archives you explore by scrolling. The Archives page brings together more than 280 projects since 2011, grouped by sector. As you scroll, projects are highlighted on screen, turning a long list into a visual journey.

A contact window that simulates a conversation. The form takes the shape of a chat, and a live clock shows whether the agency is open.

Animated emojis within the text. Built with Lottie, a lightweight vector animation format, they stay sharp at any size and give the copy rhythm.

A creative website, built for search too

A highly visual website can quickly become hard for search engines to read. The SEO strategy was led by Soleil Digital, who defined the content and the technical optimisations. We built them in without compromising the design:

An SEO-optimised H1, reserved for screen readers and search engines, while visitors see the graphic headline.

Sections labelled for assistive technologies (aria-label), which structure the page for screen readers and search engines alike.

JSON-LD structured data, which describes the agency and its content to search engines.

The result: a website awarded for its design and development, as readable for search engines as it is for visitors.
